100 Mile Club

100 Mile Club

Did you know that Washington Elementary was the birthplace of the 100 Mile Club in 1992? This fabulous program was started in Room 22 by its founder, Kara Lubin, a former teacher here at Washington.

The 100 Mile Club is a physical fitness and life skills project for all individuals based on the goal of running or walking 100 miles at school or work during a single school year. All students can participate in the program here at Washington, however, if they wish to join the club it is $12.00. The twelve dollars enrolls a student or adult into the program which allows them to earn a t-shirt at 25 miles, a pencil and membership card at 50 miles, a bracelet at 75 miles, and a certificate and a medal when they reach 100 miles. Students can earn miles at school and events sponsored by the 100 Mile Club only. It is never too late to sign up and start earning your 100 Mile Club shirt. Let's get moving together.

Visit the Official Website -https://100mileclub.com/welcome/ to learn more about the Mission, Vision, and What 100 Mile Club does for our students. Also, see what upcoming, sponsored events are available to earn miles!
