Join the Washington Elementary PTA today!  

The Washington PTA would like to welcome all of you to Washington Elementary for another wonderful year. Our PTA strives to help make the school year as fun, educational, and productive as possible.

As we start the year, remember that our focus is children; the children in your home, the children in our school, and the children in our community. If this is your first year at Washington Elementary, we would like to extend a warm welcome to each one of you. If you are a "returning” Washington family, we know that you are as excited as we are to be starting the school year up again.

As your PTA President, I am looking forward to continuing working in partnership with the Administration, our amazing Teachers, and Staff to provide an excellent learning experience for our children. I encourage everyone to become part of our “village” and join PTA.

There are many reasons to join but the number one reason is to benefit children. There are many other advantages to joining PTA and here are just a few:

1. Benefit your Child! Research shows that children perform better when parents are involved at home and at school.

2. Get Connected! There is no better way to know what is going on at school than being involved with PTA.

3. Tap Into a Network! PTA will connect you to other parents and teachers through meetings, events, and communications, helping to build a sense of community.

4. Be a Role Model! If you become a PTA member, you will be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

5. Witness Improvement! If you get involved in PTA, you will be a part of the solution by helping to make positive changes.
